Sling Crash

Our submission for the MQ RE-ENTRY Game Jam.

You are a pilot flying the spaceship sent by your kind to destroy the planet's of the enemy. Beginning your journey from your humble blue and green ball of dirt and water, you must traverse the vast expanse of open space, using the stray planets on your journey to sling you further and faster, fast enough to smash through your targets. Watch out for other astronomical objects for a safe and successful mission back home when the enemy is annihilated. 

Controls:

• Click on planets and black holes to enable their gravity field and have your ship perform a slingshot manoeuvre with it, accelerating your ship while you maintain the orbit.
• Let go for the ship to use its newly generated speed to cross the stars!
• Luckily the ships has a couple of thrusters on its sides, allowing you to  shift the direction of your trajectory with A and D keys.
